As shown in the photo below, the temperature is measured by attaching a thermocouple directly to the part to be measured.
The ch1 thermocouple measures the ambient temperature as the reference temperature.
We do not recommend attaching thermocouples directly to metal parts
such as electrolytic capacitors or heat sinks as this may increase noise in the temperature data.
We recommend insulating it with tape before attaching the thermocouple.
