| Measure the temperature by attaching a thermocouple as shown in the photo below. When measuring the temperature of an electrolytic capacitor, insulate the top surface with tape and then attach the thermocouple. For coils and transformers, the temperature is measured by attaching a thermocouple to the windings. |
