Overload protection

Increase the load current until the output voltage drops and check at which point the overload protection works.
We recommend C.R mode for the electronic load.
If this test breaks the power supply circuit, it is recommended to improve the circuit design.

Overvoltage protection

Short-circuit the part circled in red in the circuit diagram below to perform an overvoltage protection test.
The test is performed by shorting the circuit during normal operation with the rated input/output.
We recommend C.C mode for the electronic load.
If the overvoltage test cannot be performed successfully, reduce the output current to half of the rated value.
If this test breaks the power supply circuit, it is recommended to improve the circuit design.
